Welcome to Moonlight. These Terms and Conditions legally govern your use of the Moonlight Smart Lamp, including hardware, firmware, cloud services, and Over-The-Air updates. By using the Product you agree to these Terms.
You may use either LAN-Only or Cloud-Connected firmware and switch between them via OTA updates at your discretion.
LAN-Only Firmware: Transmits all data in plaintext with no encryption. Explicitly not suitable for shared, public, or unsegmented networks (apartments, dorms, co-working spaces). You assume full responsibility for packet interception and unauthorized access.
Cloud-Connected Firmware: Uses end-to-end encryption. Requires the Moonlight Hub for remote access. No local web interface on the lamp.
Optional Sinric Pro integration is governed by Sinric Pro’s own terms. Moonlight is not responsible for third-party services.
You are solely responsible for any automated schedules. Moonlight disclaims liability for damage from prolonged operation or misconfigured automation.
Switching firmware can permanently brick the device if interrupted. Moonlight uses forward-only versioning — no rollbacks are possible. Settings may be lost during migration.
Moonlight shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the Product, including network intrusions, data exposure, hardware failure, or use on insecure networks.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the founding company is registered.
